Dublin church plant

Simon and Abigail Donohoe, along with their Launch Team, hope to have a small group gathering on Sunday Mornings as Trinity Church Cherrywood in September. This group will be formally commissioned and sent by Immanuel Church Dublin. They are deliberately starting as a small church as they consider it to be the most effective means of maintaining the momentum they have seen so far and of being effective evangelistically in the area, given the relational culture of Ireland and the nature of evangelicalism in Ireland. 

In the lead up to September, they will have a more focused series of meetings with the Launch Team, supported by the Steering Group. They are currently working together on equipping people to serve in the life of a new church, seeking an appropriate place for the church to meet, fostering a sense of gospel unity amongst all those involved, and maintaining a clear focus on proclaiming Christ to the thousands of lost people living in Cherrywood and the surrounding area.
