The true gospel for Gambia
Returning to George Whitefield College for my Master’s in Theology has been exciting, even though I am aware that the journey will not be easy academically. Last year, my Honours dissertation focused on the Passover. This year, my Master’s research will take a different direction, as I plan to study the prosperity gospel. I aim to deepen my understanding of the true gospel, explore the dangers of the prosperity gospel, and consider its implications for the Gambian church.
As a Pastor-Teacher in The Gambia, my theological pursuits are shaped by the real challenges and questions within my context. This makes my studies especially meaningful, as I engage with God’s Word and academic resources with my community in mind.
